What is WHRF?
World Human Rights Foundation (WHRF) is an independent, non-partisan organization focused on human rights across borders. It draws attention to under-reported issues, develops source-based public information and reconnects with organizations, advocates and institutions that share a commitment to universal rights.
WHRF is in a period of renewal. Its present public work centres on research, advocacy, education and responsible partnership development. The Foundation does not claim a current field office, beneficiary network or direct-service programme unless that work can be independently verified.
History and renewal
WHRF’s institutional history traces its founding to 10 December 1948, the date on which the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted. Historical records describe relationships with human-rights organizations, advocates and institutions across more than 100 countries.
Following a period of reduced activity, WHRF is rebuilding its public presence from The Hague. Historic relationships are being revalidated; they should not be read as a claim that every past affiliate is currently active or formally authorized to represent the Foundation.

WHRF monitors credible sources, publishes public-interest analysis, supports non-partisan human-rights advocacy and develops responsible cooperation with relevant organizations and experts.

WHRF applies universal human-rights standards and gives particular attention to serious or under-reported concerns where careful, source-based advocacy can add public value.
Does WHRF operate field programmes?
The website distinguishes current research and advocacy priorities from direct field delivery. WHRF does not present a field office, beneficiary programme or funded operation as active unless it has been verified.
