Institutional cooperation

Partnering across borders for human dignity.

Organizations may propose a defined, accountable relationship with WHRF. An application does not create partnership or principal country status.

What the role means

A contribution defined before it is announced.

WHRF reviews legal identity, public record, mission, responsible contacts, proposed cooperation and media permissions before any relationship is approved.

The existing country-partner workflow retains one active principal partner per country unless a documented policy exception applies.

Areas of responsibility

Work with a clear remit.

  • Provide accurate institutional information
  • Define mutual contributions and responsible contacts
  • Agree public communication and review terms
  • Protect communities, data and organizational identities

Who may be suitable

Experience aligned with purpose.

  • Human-rights and public-interest organizations
  • Universities and professional institutions
  • Civil-society networks with a relevant track record
  • Organizations seeking defined international cooperation

Professional standards

Trust requires boundaries.

  • Identity and proportionate due diligence
  • Relationship-specific approval rather than blanket endorsement
  • Separate principal-partner decision
  • Rights-cleared logo and institutional media
